I don't see the fantasy/scoring upside in stephens+koivula to equal mcleod.

It's a sad day when you can't even trade minor leaguers anymore, this trade will really rock the league and upend the balance of power, all teams must be shaking in their boots.... no wonder the league is down to 20 teams and probably be 16 by next year.

I'm just glad we are reviewing trades, that's what my comment was pointing to.

1 - 1
Bruins, relax and see how things are done here before disparaging everything. We're in transition, but it's a league that's lasted years and that's something for a free league. Jackets has done a great job saving the league and building a new home here. He doesn't need complaints.

Oh for sure, I have mentioned what a good job he has done as the other TABS like old NYR and MTL (I think) never did anything to keep the League going.
Like i said, I agree with having a voting system(and I even had one turned down recently that I could agree with the vote) but this is going a bit too far with minor leaguers .... JMHO
To pass the Justin Schultz trade 3-0 makes no sense to me if you vote against this simple trade. (Schultz had 51 pts and 20 PP pts).. only thing of value going the other way is a 2019-1st which is still 2 drafts away and then probably 3-4 years from making the NHL. So a high scoring Dman who will probably be retired by the time that pick contributes is a fair deal ? LOL
Nothing against that trade or the teams involved , just using it as an example... I have made many trades like that, trading an established player(Bergeron,Hall,Spezza,Malkin) for futures I hope develop

3-1
i dont like the trade for Caps. Much prefer McLeod as he is going to make the NHL barring an injury and will likely be a top 6 player to start. Stephens is a 2nd or 3rd line player but can produce with the right opportunity. Read a lot on Koivula so he could be a darkhorse. In the end their is a gap in fantasy value imo but it isnt big enough to veto.
